Goal: Teach writers to use bullet points and spacing to make texts clearer, easier to read, and visually organised.
Big blocks of text can be hard to read. They make the readers feel tired or confused. That’s why it’s important to break up your content and use bullet points to make things easier to follow.
For example, instead of writing:
“You should bring your ID card, proof of address, and a recent photo.”
Write:
“Please bring:
- Your ID card
- Proof of address
- A recent photo”
Also, add blank space between sections and paragraphs. This gives the reader time to breathe and helps the eyes focus.
Here’s why this matters:
- It makes reading easier and faster
- It helps your reader find key points
- It keeps your text neat and organised
Spacing is also important within a paragraph. It should be set to at least 1.5 to ensure that the text isn’t too dense and that there is enough space between the lines.
